You can enjoy a traditional village by the lagoon drink of Kirala, a mangrove tree botanically identifies as Sonneratia caseolaris at the dining pavilion overlooking the paddy fields & marshy lands. A ramp from the dwellings takes you to the sprawling lawn at the edge of the river. All these are among the bounty of bird life of Sri Lanka Holidays.
