Location
Sri Lanka Holidays Hunas Falls Hotel is located 143 Km from CMB Bandaranaike International Airport. It is 26 km away from the Medieval Royal City of Kandy, the gateway to Central Highlands of Sri Lanka.

Setting
Jetwing Hunas Falls Hotel at Elkaduwa, Wattegama, 26 kilometers north-west of Kandy is set in a spectacular mountainous landscape, high in the hills overlooking the famous wooded hill of Hunnasgiriya mountain peak. The hotel being off the main motor road to Kandy, home to the Holy Temple of the Tooth and numerous Buddhist temples of medieval era, the drive is along a rugged minor road that takes at least 20 minutes. To compensate the disadvantage to the honeymooning couples in a rush, the hotel has set up a helipad. The remote location is at once a put off and a draw, but then once there, you are overtaken by the glory of nature. The secluded hotel amidst unspoilt nature of the Central highlands is a main draw in Sri Lanka for the couples on honeymoon as well as for foreign tourists with a bent towards nature.
A waterfall cascading from Hunnasgiriya Mountain range flows through the steep banks of tea plantations and spice plantations to join its waters with that of the lake located on the fringes of the hotel gardens. Every room looks out to the panoramic view and it is like a stage set with the hotel landscaped well and immaculately tended lawns and borders bursting with flowers and blending with the natural surroundings of the hotel.
The restaurant nicely set up on the side of the hotel and overlooking the lake affords stunning views of the surroundings and the lake teeming with a huge variety of wildlife: otters, eagles, monkeys, parakeets & mongoose.
The nature lovers who are in search of seclusion find it all herein at immediate vicinity: sprawling gardens with walkways, flowers and the lake with a bridge to cross it and a waterfall and equally well, the surrounding hills. The views from the windows bring in a stunning landscape to the all round serene ambience of your room.
